It's a really good, pretty practical and easy to use keystroke logger. Can be recommended for monitoring a home PC. Has very nice, user-friendly interface. Elite Keylogger is available in 3 languages (English, Spanish and Russian) and supports 64-bit versions of Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP. Includes the following modules: keystroke recorder, password tracker, clipboard monitor, emails monitor, screenshots recorder, chat sniffer, instant messenger sniffer, etc. Invisible to other users and can't be detected by anti-virus software. Record keystrokes and conversations typed in any Internet instant messenger, chat, or LAN application. Captures all keystrokes, including usernames, passwords, and instant messages in AIM, Jabber, AOL, MSN, ICQ, Gtalk, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, etc. Recommended to all users, from beginners to advanced ones.
Installation & Interface
New version of Elite Keylogger is again available for free download. Getting a download link, yet, requires putting in your email address where the link will be sent to.
Here are the screens you will need to pass through in order to install Elite Keylogger: Choose installation language (English or Russian) → EULA → Warning → Warning (Create System Restore Point) → Choose Components (Invisible mode, Visible mode, Logs viewer only, Help file only) → Automatic uninstallation → Restart request
As you can see it has two warning screens. The first one tells that the keylogger is 100% invisible, yet, can be detected by conflicting software such as anti-viruses. So, developers from WideStep recommend closing all the software of such kind for the period of installation. This screen also allows configuring Elite Keylogger the way not to show its unhide instructions after a first reboot. The second warning screen tells what a System Restore Point is and recommends creating one before the installation. However, you can choose not to create it by unmarking the corresponding checkbox.
Additional interesting screen is "Automatic uninstallation" one. It allows you to set the date of Elite Keylogger's automatic removal from the system. Unfortunately, you can choose only among 4 possible options (Never, In a week, In a month, In 3 months) and cannot specify custom date.
Importnat thing to add — in order to start working Elite Keylogger requires OS reboot after its installation.
As for the interface of Elite Keylogger, it is just perfect! Not only it is nice-looking, but also smart-made. The information is grouped into sections and the events are separated from each other. Moreover, each of them have information about related user, application, windows and timestamp of its happening. Good job, WideStep!
OS Support
Official website of WideStep Security Software, developer of Elite Keylogger says it now supports 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 10, 8, 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. During our tests of Elite Keylogger on Windows 7 and Windows XP no glitches were found in its work. 92 out of 102 points.
Security
In this section Elite Keylogger also shows good result. The keylogger is greatly hidden, password-protected and can be accessed by typing a keyword. As said above, it can be configured to be uninstalled automatically, yet, doesn't allow its user setting custom uninstall date. Additionally, its user can choose if to show the warning message on system start or not, but cannot change its text. 100 out of 125 points.
Monitoring
Elite Keylogger detects logon passwords. Despite the fact this function is rare, it is present in this keylogger. It also has almost all of the screenshots-related features implemented: user can adjust their frequency and quality and choose if to photo entire screen or active window only. Among other features of this section present in Elite Keylogger are: logging of keystrokes, clipboard content, system log on time, started applications and documents printed. Unfortunately, the keylogger does not monitor any of file activities listed in our comparison.

Online Monitoring
In few words Elite Keylogger greatly logs URLs visited and emails both sent and received. That is actually all in this section. It neither can log chat conversations, nor can be set to make screenshots of visited websites. 97 of 176 points.
Reports
Elite Keylogger is almost as perfect in this section as its interface! Only "Several days reports building" feature is absent in the keylogger. User can only generate log-files by day, not for a custom period. As for the rest — everything is implemented. Logs can be remotely sent by all the 4 means of our testing (email, LAN, FTP, flash) and filtered the way user likes.

Other
Despite the results of Elite Keylogger in previous section, this one is way not as good. Elite Keylogger cannot restrict launching of websites and applications. It also doesn't have an option of creating a list of keywords to somehow react on them. What it can (within this section) is to work on schedule. It is also available not in English only, but also in Russian and Spanish. However, developers could have gone further and translate their keylogger to more languages than these three…15 of 108 points.
The Bottom Line
Elite Keylogger by WideStep Security Software is easy-to-use and greatly hidden keylogger with a very good interface. It can be recommended for home monitoring. Its interface is nice looking and clear, which makes this keylogger easy to use. Elite Keylogger is available in 3 languages and runs on 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 8/7/Vista/XP.
